Art's Wall (a Uhcapps guessing game)

One of my friends in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a big hunter / trapper. He has a wall of furs in the entryway to his house that represents
every animal he's trapped, with the exception of Wolf & Pine Marten, and one fish.
I thought it might be a fun "Guessing Game" to identify the species hanging on Art's Wall.

The bad news; I stupidly hit my Enter key after entering one guess and it submitted.

The good news; It was incorrect, so now I don't have to bash my head against Google all night trying to figure out the rest.

This is a very neat idea but I have to confess I am stumped at several of them. I can name probably 1/2 of them off the top of my head (9 in fact according to the score sheet). Unfortunately I am too stubborn to research them.

I considered making it multiple choice, but I think that would make it way too easy.

Looking at the answers, all of the correct answers have been guessed. Just not all on the same entry, and a few on the wrong species.

I reiterated a couple hints from the opening paragraph, and added one.

I think I got 13 right?? DAMN. I had a lot more than 2 with two words, though, I think! And I'm not sure which one needed a fur variation... I have a suspicion but I wasn't sure if it wasn't just sun fading

Ummm, it was closed for two days and now it's not. Wish I had taken a screenshot but I know what I saw, more than once, over the past two days.
