I don't know about your barrels, but mine work just fine. Gotta look a little further out though, but there be big bears!

I think those big bear like goat meat and are not attracted to the barrel.Tanngnjostr wrote:I don't know about your barrels, but mine work just fine. Gotta look a little further out though, but there be big bears!

Wow! Some nice black bear. The leader-board is lookin' good. Seein' some names I didn't think I'd see. Cool. I'll be monitoring this thread now and will be looking for SM's... Peace.

Well, I'm out with three attempts left (time for work ) . Great comp BCKidd, glad I got some time to try this one this year. This is the highest up the ladder I've been, but I'm sure it won't last . Good luck to all the rest and keep placing those enormous weights.

I figured I'd be playing this comp for the fun of it, without the amount of time to really invest in looking at bunches of bears, and now I'm sure I am playing for the fun of it.
Nice black bears Tann and Dyeuz, and without baiting working 100%, wow! Tann, how are you enjoying your own "casual" comp? ;p

Quite happy with my polar bears and that black bear. But I'm really not looking forward to the grizzlies... those chickens are fleeing all the time and I'm tracking level 5 on them, so I don't even know if I'm following something promising. It's going to be a shot in the dark!J_Birdman wrote:Tann, how are you enjoying your own "casual" comp? ;p

thx Birdman .
I know what you mean Marc . Yesterday , saw a 300@360 Male . he spooked . So i tracked him about 2 km crouch , because he kept fleeing .
Got to him , bang ! He was 301 kg
Saw another Male , 290@350 . Tracked him a while also . Bang ! 293 kg Tears flowing big time .
Third one , saw by luck , in front , far enough not to spook him , next to river . Another 290@350 , wow , how lucky i am ! Bang ! 297 kg
Was about to point .454 to my head .
