DItto what RB said!

BC, thanks for keeping the UHC Comp train rolling! I still get frustrated with you but I know it's on me, and I admit, the one shot/kill is like getting stabbed in the ass but it does put me into a mode of the highest discipline and control over all others. This is your signature move my man, and one we all know. I'm glad it's not popular
The other night I was hunting RFF and I had just started my black bear route and spotted a nice one! Should've been a big one. I got him down by a river, he was along the bank and only his belly up was visible. I had a bt doe walking towards me and was going to spook and run right at that bear. So I got into a position prone to take a shot. I lined up on him, calm, steady, and fire! .... and hit a damn invisible rock right at heart level. I even had the new powerful scope but it never rendered a rock - I was so mad I could bite nails! After that I flipped to auto and just shot the hell out of everything. In the end, it was OK, because it wasn't that big afterall thank goodness so I felt so much better. But the fact is, there's nothing I did wrong, I did everything right and still, if it had been a big one I'd be screwed because there's nothing you can do about those situation. It's the same thing exactly like I had on a ram a few weeks back- spend so much time stalking and positioning for a good kill and that stuff happens. I'm just glad it didn't matter for me personally.

Anyway, glad it's come to an end and had fun man! I'm not a huge bear hunter so it was fun to get out there and focus on 1 thing like this, we shot a lot of bears and I didn't get killed once! I came close, 2 griz almost got me but I was able to blast em in just in time. I was killed more times by falling for a change :D
