I don know if they are rifles technically irl, but i guess the game don't consider muzzloaders as rifles, hence they got their own section in the store like, shotguns and handguns.

My guess is that they are Black Powder (or Pyrodex) Muzzle loading Bullet(balls, Sabots) Rifles, instead of being modern Smokeless powder Breech loading Bullet Rifles,Generalkommendant wrote:Rules and Conditions
