Either one.
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

This one looks cool.
I'll try to participate. :)

I just confused about these two rules:
Hunts must be started at 0600 game time & end by 1000 game time. 4 hour hunt (2 hours real time)!
Hunts must be at least 45 minutes real time (1 hour and 30 minutes game time).
We should hunt for 45 min real time or 2 hrs real time?!

Small weekend comps is what I am going to focus on. You can expect more.

 Vortex: Hopefully you can catch the next one.

 Stan: Pretty guns shoot better ;)

 HD: 45min minimum & 2hrs maximum.

No one answered his first question. Do hunts have to start at 6:00 on the Hunter Mate? If so, why, and how are you going to know?

I don't like the rule of "NO OTHER animals may be taken during this hunt. "
That rule makes this comp pretty much running around non-stop till you find the biggest WT weight ratio 85-100kg track and just going after it since you can't normally hunt other animals.
I have over 1337 kills with my Longbow at 100% kill rate.

Yes
stancomputerhunter wrote: why,
Because its opening day & that is the criteria of the hunt.

The honest truth is I wont know. Regrettably sometimes you have to just hope people act with honesty & integrity.

I have this misguided belief that people enter these comps for a challenge & something a little different with an added bonus of a chance of walking away with a little em$ much like poker night with your buddies. Now if you are the sort of a person that shows up at your buddies with cards up your sleeve & are there for the sole purpose of free beer & to try to clean them out well odds are your you arent going to get invited over again. The same goes here.

If you decide to enroll in the comp, for just 3 hunts you will have to treat this game as a simulator & obey actual hunting laws. You wont be able to "kill them all" & pick the best score to submit.

The impetus for this hunt was awhile ago I was walking through LP blowing the grunt call when a buck responded. I started moving to a favorable position to ambush him when another buck called. Buck A was at my 12 oclock & buck B at my 3 oclock. I didnt bring a bow so I was only going to be able to get one shot. I waited awhile hoping to get eyes on both bucks so I could pick which one to shoot. As I was moving again to keep buck B from spotting or winding me 3 does started coming in as well. I couldnt help but laugh. How the hell was I going to going to dodge these 3 does & 1 buck while trying to get eyes on Buck A because he still hadnt shown himself! I just KNEW he had to be a big one the way he was holding back. Buck B was probably a 120ish buck & I didnt want to shoot him & lose my chance at a possible monster. Long story short there was allot of crawling, checking wind & repositioning but I finally got eyes on Buck A. He was "only" a 150ish buck but the sense of accomplishment at successfully taking him was through the roof!
I want for each of you that decide to participate in this hunt to have that sense of accomplishment. No sitting in a treestand murdering everything that happens by till you spot the one you want & no shooting clear out to render range. Instead it will be up close real hunting.
