When
Starts: Monday 23rd April 2018, 08:00 Europe/London
Finishes: Monday 30th April 2018, 08:00 Europe/London
Objectives
If the word "tail" appears in the name of the species, it's a target. In the case of deer species, non-typical variations are excluded.
- Blacktail Deer
- Cottontail Rabbit
- Northern Pintail
- White-tailed Ptarmigan
- Whitetail Deer
Scoring
Scoring is normalized, and based on the highest score in the competition for that species. For example, if you submit a whitetail deer scoring 150.750 and this is the highest scoring whitetail deer in the competition, you will receive a score of 100 points. If later another participant submits a whitetail deer scoring 195.450 and this becomes the highest scoring whitetail deer in the competition, they will receive a score of 100 points and your score will reduce to 77.12, since 150.750 is 77.12% of 195.450. To word it another way, the normalized score you are awarded for an animal is based on how that animal scores as a percentage of the highest score for the same species in the competition.

UHC recommends you use ALT-F4 to end your hunts rather than selecting "Quit" from the game menu.

Bonus Objectives
Each species in the competition has an optional bonus objective. If you achieve the bonus objective for a species, and at the end of the competition your animal is the highest scoring of that species with the bonus objective, you will receive a bonus prize. The bonus prizes are separate from the main podium prizes. If you place on the podium and also win a bonus prize, you will receive both. It is entirely possible however that those on the podium at the end of the competition, will not necessarily have achieved the bonus objectives.
Blacktail Deer: Killed by any arrow through the heart (other organs can be hit) from a distance of between 100 and 101 meters
Cottontail Rabbit: Killed with a single arrow (wound time does not have to be zero) whilst fleeing, from a minimum distance of 30 meters
Northern Pintail: Killed with an arrow from a traditional bow (cable-backed bow, recurve bow, heavy recurve bow or longbow)
White-tailed Ptarmigan: Killed with .22 LR ammunition fired from an un-scoped weapon from a distance greater than 150 meters
Whitetail Deer: Killed with any ethical ammunition, when the deer is in motion (not idle) from a distance of between 30 and 31 meters
The bonus prize for each species is 10,000 em$.
Trophies
Novelty high resolution trophies (unofficial trophies which do not appear on theHunter website) will be issued to all participants who finish on the podium. Special bonus trophies will be issued to participants that complete a bonus objective and have the highest scoring animal of that species.
