It's a fun but also a tough (and potentially frustrating) competition for sure. Once you find a mixed group, you can call the bull(s) into one spot, but the females that accompany them will continually trot and move around in circles and it can be hard to hit that one big looking lady with the bow before they all spook - even more so since stands are not allowed. Very clever setup, Serge!
I imagine it would be a bit like this if the calling system would be revised - animals come into your vicinity after being called, but you'd never know exactly where they stop and whether you had the chance for an easy and well-aimed shot.

Holy crap Grancazador, that's an insane number you just put up. It's been really challenging for me, as Marc said, the males keep running interference for their ladies whenever I get close and then the ladies always seem to make a break for the reserve border and I haven't had much luck keeping up with them.

Don't even try to track them. You can't keep up when they're roaming.Thoke2014 wrote:Holy crap Grancazador, that's an insane number you just put up. Thanks guys. The Roe calls are testing for sure. I did a couple attempts yesterday. Not very much luck. Couldn’t find herds until I did and they would be double herds. Both would come in and it would be so hectic I wouldn’t get any of them. Watching really big females escape.
