Re: UHC Apps | Competition Generator
Hey, I just tried to register at UHC. How long are "a few minutes" supposed to be, because I do not receive a confirmation message since over 10 mins now...? And yes, I am also checking my spam folder

You should normally receive the email within a minute. Around a dozen people have reported never receiving it. Unfortunately some providers block script-generated emails, even if they're geniune and not spam. Not much I can do about that. Incidentally other users with the same mail provider as you did receive the activation email. Go figure. I have activated your account for you. You should be able to log in now.MonacoSteve wrote:Hey, I just tried to register at UHC. It's just a standard server setting. When a session is created, the data relating to that session is stored on the server. Some websites allow you to close your browser and open it again without being logged out, others log you out automatically after x minutes of inactivity. I figured a happy-medium solution would be to destroy sessions after 4 hours of inactivity.DYEUZ wrote:Why is there a time-out for our session ?

Re: UHC Apps | Competition Generator
David, does the 4 hour session time out mean I can close the browser without logging out, and in the 4 hour window I can come back without having to log in again?

No, that's a separate parameter. The way the UHC server is configured, if you close your browser at any point, your session is destroyed.stancomputerhunter wrote:David, does the 4 hour session time out mean I can close the browser without logging out, and in the 4 hour window I can come back without having to log in again?
