Choosing a computer :)

Post by kiler8875 »

I warmly welcome,
I change the computer and because I am not an avid player, I only play Classica, my question is, which unit will be more effective at maximum settings?

#1
Intel Core i5-4690K, 3.5GHz, 6MB, BOX (BX80646I54690K)
MSI Radeon R9 270, 2GB GDDR5 256 Bit (R9 270 GAMING 2G)
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 (GA-Z97X-Gaming 5)
GoodRam DDR3 PLAY PC1866 8GB RED CL9 (GYR1866D364L9A/8GDC)
SeaSonic 520W (M12II-520)
SSD Kingston HyperX 120GB 2,5
HDD 256GB 2,5

#2
Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5 GHz
Asus P8H67
GoodRam 8 GB
1 TB HDD + 120 GB SSD
Karta graficzna – Nvidia GTX 960 - 4 GB Winforce,
Windows 10 Home
AeroCool VX-550 W

-----------------
Two are at the same price
Regards :)

I would honestly recommend #2, it has more storage space which may or may not matter to you, and the graphics card is more powerful and will run the settings more smoothly.

#2 is definitely going to play the game at max settings better than #1. The CPU is better because it is an i7, which means you can do more in the background while you play, without slowing down. The GTX 960 is the faster video card AND has twice as much memory.

#2, because i7 and GTX 960 ;)

The i5 4690k paired with the Z97X still is a very powerful combo though.

If you can mix and match, do that. If not, go #2!

I upgraded recently my computer with an association of
Gigabyte Z370p D3 M/B
i5 8400 6 cores processor
16 GB ram Kingston 2400 DDR4
Palit Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti Dual OC 4 GB
Kingston SSD 500 GB
I has already my Cooler master Case,my Thermaltake Power supply 750 W and my Asus Monitor 27"
I paid about 700$ but I think that is a good combination for playing in max settings and unfortunately my monitor display is only HD 1920X1080 when the Graphics card can display the double but I have no more money :( :D
last but not less the fact that the Z370p with the i5 8400 boot win 10 in 12 sec. maybe because the i5 8400 even it have nominate speed 2.8 and we can't overclocked it runs directly at overclocked speed of 4 GH for the first core and 3.8 to 4 for the other 5. The only thing against the i5 8400 is that it runs only on the Z370 at least!
