Thehunter classic and steam

Hi everyone, is anyone else unable to launch thehunter classic through steam today? I have used steam for thehunter for ages and never any issues and even played yesterday with no worries. Today however I start the game the game from steam and it just goes to a black sometimes white windowed screen. Anyone know what could be wrong, I have verified the files. My membership runs out in a few days so trying to enjoy every minute. Thanks in advanced

I have the same problem as you, Krok.
Alternating black screen / white screen.
I played the game thru Steam fine yesterday, & every day in the past, too.

I just finished a game launched from Steam without issue.

I don't know what's wrong. Tried a few things nothing worked now uninstalled and redownloading... 2 of my 6 days left gone.

Same issue here. I have uninstalled/reinstalled via steam. Installed the stand alone launcher. Reinstalled graphics drivers. Disabled antivirus... No luck with anything.

Try closing the launcher and closing Steam, then locating the following directory and deleting everything in it:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\theHunterSteam

Replace "Username" with your Windows account username.

Once that's done launch Steam again then try to re-open the launcher and start a hunt.

I had this issue today as well. Black screen then white then black etc. I restarted my computer 3 times and it came right!

*edit: closed my launcher, now it's doing it again Haha bedtime

I have problem to connect to the server.
The launcher starts normally the splash screen appears then it try to connect but only a white screen comes, The screen becomes black again then it try to connect again but nothing!
I think the launcher can't connect to the server.
have someone else the same problem?
