I have that too with certain MP parties. Sometimes restarting the launcher helps, most times though it doesn't.iz_da wrote:I cannot join any MP session nowadays.

I think th ebig change was my monitor dying and now using my tv w hdmi. other than that the machine (and classic now) work fineHooCairs wrote:Yeah but that all sounds strange. Could your computer have taken damage when moving? Are all fans spinning? Does your computer have a software to show CPU and graphics board temperatures and the like?

Re: CANT load game
A low or high resolution doesn't make a difference. I recently tried to go Bighorn hunting and that's exactly when I lower the details etc.
We are not alone with this thing though. It started a couple of months ago amongst my friends and has now gained the upper hand.
Drivers are all up to date by the way. Doesn't matter if I use Steam (did a fresh installation) or our trusted launcher.

Re: CANT load game
Well that might explain it. Your TV likely has a higher resolution. If you suddenly double the number of pixels to be displayed, your computer has quite a bit more work to do. After I went from a smaller monitor to a larger one, I also had to exchange my graphics card.rhapsodaisical wrote:I think th ebig change was my monitor dying and now using my tv w hdmi. other than that the machine (and classic now) work fine
