still not fixed

Rather than start a new thread - I searched up this one.

I am on a VERY extended Hirschfelden hunt (been four game days so far)...

I have dropped a few red deer with one shot kills - but could NOT claim the harvest with the huntermate.
The huntermate id button just flashes, will not allow me to click on it.
IF I maneuver araound it will allow me to click on the blood stain - but not the animal.

I am not loosing sleep over the glitch, but I just dropped a GREAT looking buck and it glitched again.

Kinda bummed? is there an in game fix for this glitch?

Sadly, no. The bug has been around for quite some time. Players have tried moving out of render range to get the animal to re-render & drop with no luck.

It's presumed that the animals you can't harvest are the reincarnations of the animals you killed on previous days in the same game.
Being a programmer, I kind of have a hard time with that theory. But, hey! I've been wrong before.

The crux of the biscuit: You're pretty much S.O.L. until they get it fixed.

Just happened to me on my last 2 bull moose for the Loose Moose v2 comp.. 18 bulls in and drop 2 heavy 550kg+ and cant harvest... all this time and effort.

Could not harvest a F Dall Sheep that i dropped on the frozen river of WRR yesterday . It was not an extended day , only had 1½ hrs long game .
So , nothing to do with the glitch i know .
Friends have reported to me ,same issue , without extended day also .

Same thing with Dall Sheeps in WRR here too, the 2 sheep were on the side of a mountain. Try to go out of the range distance and came back but nothing to do.
Normal hunt, 1h48mn real time.
