Taxidermy options taking their time...

Hello all, I've been recently out hunting from Hirschfelden from a tent and after both hunts the taxidermy icons in the main menu have really taken their time showing up. Often many hours later. I am aware the game takes its time to register kills and it usually takes a little while for everything to turn up but usually the taxidermy options are always there. I thought the issue was caused by me rapidly closing down my computer 'cos I had to be somewhere (one of my trophy images shows up on my computer but not in the in-game gallery) but my latest hunt was finished in good time and those tax options still haven't shown up yet some 9 hours later. I've never had that before.

Any reasons?

Aight there is one possible thing it may be. I noticed that when I play CoD MW2 on my home wifi, the game loads perfectly with the intro logos and stuff. The instant I try to play it at my uni accommodation, it conveniently freezes up for up to a minute before finally letting me load it. I get a bad feeling the internet is a bit weird where I am now but I can't guarantee that...

Anyone had this problem lately or is it just me? If it's just me it might just be my internet here. Come to think of it, my tax options conveniently showed up upon using uni wifi and not the accommodation wifi. I dunno it's just weird.

I think it's a Steam/Launcher communication issue. Last year for a couple months I had several issues happening. I listed them out here:

One thing I didn't mention in that post was the "Woodpecker ate your lodge" error when I would try to edit a lodge. A couple weeks ago I bought the new Texas Lodge, and I haven't been enter any lodge since. The black loading screen shows for a few seconds, the screen flashes and then goes black. If I escape to menu and back, the screen loads with me still outside the lodge door and unable to move. I can still escape to menu or go to the inventory screen, but other than that all I can do is Alt-F4 to quit. Sometimes in the launcher I can edit the lodges, but sometimes I'll get the "Woodpecker ate your lodge" error message. At first I thought it was something to do with the new lodge, but I've also recently started having issues with my loadouts not always showing in game again, so I'm starting to think it's the Steam/Launcher communication thing again. By the way, my internet is an Iphone hotspot, so the slow internet may be a contributor, but I've never had any problems editing my lodges or taxing availability showing up in a regular browser. Only through the launcher have those problems occurred.
