Straif Right Locks Up Intermittently?

This past couple weeks of getting back into this game with a new laptop and good internet connection I've noticed a consistent issue that happens for me every hunt. The straif right function locks up intermittently throughout the hunt to where I can't stop straifing right, standing, crouching, and prone. It will stay locked for about 5 minutes and then return to normal. I'm pretty sure its not the keyboard but I can't yet rule that out.

I don't know why this happens and its very frustrating. Does this happen to others? Is it a bug in the game? What could be causing this?

I've had something similar happen to me lately. For me, I'd get a quick popup regarding a QuickBooks update, and after that, I could not stop moving. I didn't notice if it was in any direction or not, as I was just panicking about spooking animals.
My solution was to be sure that I had other programs shut down before I started hunting... and it has not happened again. If you have a new laptop, maybe something you have on it is running that you didn't notice, and it's doing something similar?

I believe I've had a similar experience long ago, although I can't remember which movement function got stuck exactly. It was also related to another program running on my computer at the same time. I must have hit a specific key combination that triggered the other program to do something, and this caused Classic to freak out and lock up for a minute. Nowadays, I generally don't have anything running in the background other than maybe discord or a web browser. I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time though.
