Sinclair ZX81! Got it in 1984 when I was six years old, wrote my first simple lines of code on it. I was an IT child prodigy, but later I messed up big time and studied clinical psychology. Bummer! :P

Re: Show us what weapons are ethical in-game

How come you went straight to games on 3.5" floppy? You skipped 5.25" floppies! Some of the best games were on those bad boys. And you obvioulsy skipped Datassette! Or even better: manually copy-typing the code of a simple game from a computer magazine. Pages and pages of code, it took da...

Re: Calibre Competition

We actually were not sure how it would go! I was pretty sure the .223 would not feature highly, but I thought perhaps the other 3 would be a bit closer. Like mentioned by Strong, a .243 might have been nice! It is super early days, I have seen polls do stranger things :D I understand. I'd love to s...

Re: Calibre Competition

7mm will win the poll by a landslide. :) Of course it will. There is a choice between one calibre for small game only (.223) and two that are rather weak in this game (.243 and .308) - and then we have a very versatile and pretty powerful calibre that can kill everything from roe deer to bison. Thi...

Re: African reserve?

Thanks for the insight, TheSheWolf. I've never been playing WoW to be honest, I just thought it would still do well after all these years. So you pretty much explained why the outdated engine will be more of a problem for tH:C than for WoW. IIrc They tweaked a few things when TGT was released (light...

Re: African reserve?

The longest time between two reserve releases was 14 months (TGT -> PB) and now it's already been 11 months since the release of Piccabeen Bay and no word of a new reserve so far. We're into the 10th year of the game, active player numbers seem to decline. If you were a developer and had to decide w...

Re: Dead Weight Competition

That's good to know - because right now even the rabbits on SC seem to be bigger than the bears I find! :?

Re: Dead Weight Competition

I assume that the height shown in the competition logo (the bear mug shot) is made up? Because if my internet research is right and if I didn't make a mistake when converting into the metric system, a 7'8'' bear would be really huge.

Re: Dead Weight Competition

my feeder is in the north eastern fields from the southern Lodge, there is good visual and always found bears in the area, but the attraction as you said, is nowhere near to RFF, there i got 6 or 7 easy in the feeder. I got a barrel in those fields too. Sometimes you can be really lucky and find fo...
