Re: Next weapon?

I think a nice .22 or similar would be nice for the smaller game like the red fox and any others they might eventually end up adding. With their addition I might actually go back to lower caliber guns - been enjoying 9mm Anschutz a little too much over the past month to want to go back to anything e...

Re: 17 shots on roe deer!

Is it likely that the game records shots even after the animal dies that hit it, and because it ran off wounded, then 'settled in' for a rest before passing, your hunter buddy didn't notice?

Re: B&C vs Sneaky 3D

Pretty much what Harbard said. I've found that B&C gloves and boots - occasionalyl a B&C hat, coupled with the Sneaky3D environment-specific jacket and pants works wonders for me - a good balance between the two.

Re: Very laggy when raising rifles without scopes

I've noticed the same issue with shotguns as well - not only without scopes, but also with the red dot for the pump-action. I've had no issues with my rifles or other scoped weapons or binoculars/rangefinders. Settings also haven't been changed, though I did set it to 'Low' for one hunt just to see ...

Re: What should I buy?

To help with the shooting, don't bother with a gun. Now that you have the scope and clothes...get yourself the rangefinder if you haven't already. Once you know your target's organ locations and how your bullet reacts at different ranges, that rangefinder makes things all too easy provided you have ...

Re: Hog Skulls on the Last Hunt/Hunt History pages

That is exactly my point. I know I hit them in the skull. But if you look at the image, the skull overlay is misaligned, the brown 'hit' icon for the skull being at the tail, not where it should be at the head.. THAT is the thing I am pointing out, not that I didn't think I hit them in the head.

Hog Skulls on the Last Hunt/Hunt History pages

I've noticed that it appears that when it comes to the 'hit' overlay for certain organs and bones, especially with hogs, they seem to be mis-placed over the usual skeleton paper doll. Example: http://i.imgur.com/J4lZv3U.png I have tried clearing the cache, so I think that it's an issue with how the ...

Re: DSLR camera

As much as I like the idea, I'm not sure how workable the picture competition idea is, since (as far as I know) there wouldn't really be much in the way of a truly 'fair' way to rate the pictures - making it easy and automated either makes the scoring too easy or abuse-prone...but there's too much s...

Re: Status Update - 8th August 2012

keep it traditional NO SCOPE Same opinion here - though what I would love is to see those stepped ladder sights to actually be usable, to be able to move the bar to the different places to be able to set the range - and should the target be beyond 50 yards to pop the thing up and move the sight up ...
