Re: Measuring weapon penetration.

TOMRf5 - I tried to send as a PM, but apparently it seems you have them disabled, so I figured it best to post here, and see what comes of it: I'm currently writing a guide for the Steam Community on the various firearms, ballistics, etc, and given all of your information, I was wondering if you wou...

Re: Steam Integration

I can't seem to find it here, but any ETA as to when/if Steam'll be coming to the US/North America stores? I can't seem to find it, and when I followed a link it said it wasn't available in my region.

Re: Measuring weapon penetration.

What I'd like to know however is...how did you come up with these penetration values? I assume that with the bows, you essentially measured the remaining amount of arrow/bolt sticking out of the target...but given teh fact that we can't cut open an animal in-game to view the wound depth with the bul...

Re: Roe Deer and Trophy Integrity

Agreed. As nice as the thought behind it is...perhaps if they insist on this integrity thing a simple complete review of all firearms is in order and simply adjust what is considere ethical for what, and if you can get 90% integrity with the weapon at a certain range (say 75 yards for firearms, 30 y...

Re: How long does the discount last?????

And it's also already expired. I figured I'd re-sub for the year early today, but having only had a chance just now to get to the site... No luck.

Re: About the 8x57 Ansh. performance ...

Maybe it's just me, since I never did use the 8x57 Anschutz, but it does seem that the 8x57 cartridge is a little on the overpowered side, and by that I don't mean that I'm complaining about low trophy integrity when hunting deer and the like (though I have noticed that as well under certain ranges)...

Re: Seriously?!

I only use the actual cones/direction of the track as shown on the ground to find the first 50 metres of tracks for a wounded animal. After that, following the line that the tracks generally form, and then making educated guesses when you come to hills or water and the like have rarely steered me wr...

Re: Clothing's value. %

Not sure if it means much, but I've found the most success with Sneaky3D hats, jackets, and pants, with B&C gloves/boots. Perhaps there is something to it all being locational, or maybe it's just me imagining things, but it's what's been working for me since I got it all. That said, for Hemmelda...

Re: Limits per reserve

Then why not do somethign a little different, with that total of 15 per reserve...but you can decide on the exact composition of your items. If you want to put down, say, 10 tree stands in RFF, 2 tents, and a trio of ground blinds...I don't see why you shouldn't be permitted to do that. Or put 15 te...

Knives? Not as weapons but tool of sorts

Recently, the past day or so I've been starting to learn bow-hunting. As it stands, I'm currently not very good, but to an extent that's neither here nor there. While it doesn't have any direct impact, I thought I'd mention it since it gives context to my suggestion. One of my issues with bow huntin...
