Re: Best place in the US for whitetail deer

As has been said there are several great places to hunt whitetail. For me, the journey is as important as the destination so I would pick a location that offered scenic beauty as well as the oportunity for some big bucks. Personally I am not fond of hunting wide open places. I like woods & hills...

Re: 2nd Annual RFF Fall Hunt

Congrats on a awesome comp Kidd! I really enjoy these kinda comps, the pressure of having to get one trophy after another all in the same hunt is grueling but very rewarding. Unfortunately I only had the time to make 1 full hunt for lack of time. I made 3 false starts where I started a hunt & go...

Re: Noob question on ducks

I only hunt ducks on the Bayou. I would suggest checking out the location of my 2 setups. Both provide a nice 360deg area of visibility. http://www.uhcapps.co.uk/myreserve/?code=JPIJKCDJOIONNCPL Having more decoys will just increase the attraction making more ducks break more often & in greater ...

Re: Noob question on ducks

The only thing I hunt on the Bayou is ducks. Both of my duck spreads offer clear fields of fire in a 360deg arc. I would suggest trying those locations to start. http://www.uhcapps.co.uk/myreserve/?code=JPIJKCDJOIONNCPL Having more decoys will just increase the attractions so ducks will break more o...

Re: What brand-model of earphones/headphones do you use?

I must be the only one who doesn't like headphones. :) You are! ;) You cant beat having a good set of headphones to be able to tell what direction a sound is coming from. I just got a new headset on Sat. My last one the mic crapped out on. Logitech G35. Very comportable & crystal clear so...

Re: What are you drinking?

Just messing with you, Bob. Enjoy whatever you like. And if you really want to have a man's drink, get some Ardbeg! ;) Ironically I started out as a Scotch drinker but developed a fondness for Bourbon. I still have a taste for a fine single malt & have a bottle of Glenfiddich 18 in my cabinet f...

Re: What would actually improve tH:C (my 2019 hopeless wishlist)

IMO part of the problem is the character size as well. It seems to me the characters when compared to their rifles are about 155-160cm. That may be fine if you are actually that short but I am 195cm tall so everything seems larger than it should be to me.
