Correct! We used to have a community member called ReadThoreau (wow, almost 6 years ago!) and he was not happy about the milk cartons lying around near the lodge. So the devs added this. :P

A nice piece of trivia. Thanks Hoo :)

Re: Status Update - 1st August 2018

Thanks for the update TK. My guess after the hint: 2+1 is still some sort of drilling rifle. I agree with this guess now :) I saw it was the first or one of the first few guesses from the previous status update. Should be interesting if it's right :) Yet to think of anything else it may be, apart f...

Re: Summer Fiesta 2018

Got my first moose with a front on .303 shot at 58m then the second from the side at 180m with the 7mm. Took a while to get a good angle. Also taking "pot shots" for some of them hoping to get lucky. I found larger rifles front on have too much penetration and looking at the organ pic of t...

Re: Sunglasses visual effects

Polarised glasses reduce reflection glare from the ground and any surface you are looking at. This is why fishermen love them. It blocks the glare/reflection from the water on a horizontal level.
They can see more clearly.

Re: Sunglasses visual effects

They do not remove glare. The glare is indicated by not being able to see the domes from animal tracks. The glare reduction from your hunt must have been due to overcast/snowy conditions. Polarised sunglasses DO remove such glare in real life and should also do the same in the game. It's almost impo...

Re: Flag Waypoints

You might use a "code" to set a distance from a certain point you are standing at whether it be a tree stand or other fixed object on the map. I was looking at a flag you can see the distance from anywhere you may roam on the map. If you move 300 km South, are your flags going to be releva...

Re: Sunglasses visual effects

It's not just the domes, as I mentioned. The game would be more pleasant with polarised glasses so you can differentiate the terrain also.
As you would get with polarised glasses.

EDIT: As I mentioned. Nearly suggestion I have made comes back with a negative from you.

Re: Sunglasses visual effects

Do people even make sunglasses that aren't polarized these days? Even the $10 sunglasses you can pick up at the gas station are polarized. The $8 Berkley sunglasses you can get at the Walmart fishing section are polarized. Fishing is the best use of these imo, as they take the sun glare off the wat...

Re: Sunglasses visual effects

The best way I can describe polarised lenses is... Middle of summer, bright sky, high sun shining on the road while you are driving. If you tilt your head left to right you will see the effect of polarised lenses. It just takes off the main glare and slightly darkens the rest. If you tilt your head ...
