Re: Getting stuck in between tree roots on piccabeen

Not having Max Settings gets a lot easier for many things. Almost like exploiting. Antler sheds, collectibles, line of sight etc etc. I would never do that. I like it as its meant to be. Hopefully people don't lower their settings if not absolutely necessary due to hardware issues. Agreed. Some fol...

Re: Hunt stats / achievements

If you are in Single Player, instead of hitting Escape, and then Quit Hunt in the Launcher, while you are still in game, hit Alt+F4. That will end the game. Then click on View Hunt Statistics..when it opens, click the red x in the upper right corner and leave the launcher. Now, go to the main web pa...

Re: Getting stuck in between tree roots on piccabeen

Seems like the simplest solution is to just stay away from the roots, they aren't really a problem. Exactly my feeling as well. I hunt piccabeen a lot and after the first couple of instances I learned the lesson. Its no different than real life, where you may encounter stinging nettle, poison Ivy, ...

Re: Tip here your bet about the new animal!

In the left lower quarter of the screen you can see some birds flying between the trees, those are the new birds? cause they look more like a kind of ptarmigan than a waterfowl, but i may be wrong of course. ;) Good eye! But I think those are just decorative / ambient (word?) non-game birds Yes..wo...

Re: Payback Invitational (UHC Comp) official announcement

Starts in a little over an hour here. Bedtime. I'm losing 8 hours right off the bat. Good luck every participant. At this moment, it looks like I'm a lock to finish in the top 20.

Re: Payback Invitational (UHC Comp) official announcement

It was pure luck..no way you can do it again! I don’t have any reason to refute such a claim just yet. But you better hope it was pure luck. :D Dropped a goose at 150m with the grasshopper the same hunt but it had a single 20ga BB in its ass so that didn’t count. Lol Even if you have SLI and ...

Re: Getting stuck in between tree roots on piccabeen

EW "conveniently" made the foliage in Peekaboo at eye level when crouching, so if you are on high settings, this is what tempts you to crawl on to the long tree roots, so you can SEE. If you happen to fall off the wrong one...you're stuck. I think Tod1d has the best solution.

Re: Trophy Lodges - Deleting Animals

Since the Trophy Lodges have been around, I'm sure there are many of us who have used the Taxidermy function to preserve animals that at the time we wanted to keep. If you are like me, when the Trophy Lodges were brand new I taxidermized some animals that weren't really trophy caliber; I just wante...
