Re: Surplus rifles

That is definetely very neat.
Is the mag fixed like the floorplate would normally be or was it welded on?

Re: 2018/2019

Nice deer! Waidmannsheil. Is that a Steyr Mannlicher? It finally worked out for me, as well. I have been trying to get a buck that fit my expectations. Or rather I had been trying. Until Sunday that is. The rather long story: The last-minute-buck I had some rather disappointing experiences since 1st...

Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018

Something I find pretty interesting are these stabilized Zeiss 20x60 T* Binoculars. The mechanical stabilization lets you identify coin sized objects at ranges up to 500 meters without any support. They're just fragile and bulky, but that doesn't really do anything in terms of gameplay. https://bild...

Re: 2018/2019

Very nice! Waidmannsheil! That second buck is quite a whopper. I bet you'll get some looks with a buck that nice! I was hunting yesterday. Saw a young buck and some does. When it got dark I could see a buck way out at 200 yards. Only had a 2.2-9x42 on my gun, so I couldn't see what he was, let alone...

Re: 2018/2019

My plans for this year are, well, all of them :P Soon roe deer season for bucks and year-old-does will start (10 days, yay!) and I've already looked at some nice bucks. Having discovered the fun and adrenaline in fox hunting last year, I will try to look into more of that starting August. Especially...

Re: A new Goose,.. and a new Gun?

I like it. I swear one day I'll have to get me a 10ga.
Also seems like the best option for a semi auto 10 from what I've read.

Re: Another handgun for foxes etc.

An option I could see would be having a double action revolver. For example this .327 Fed. Mag. Ruger SP101. It holds six rounds and can shoot double action. Less raw power in the cartridge could be balanced out by a higher firing rate due to the double action trigger: https://www.ammoland.com/wp-co...
