Re: Does heavy rain and fog affect animals ability to detect the player?

Rain and wind did reduce at least hearing of the animals, but who knows how things are after 2013 MP update. I noticed the effect before the update, but after the update I am not that sure it is still in effect. Regarding fog, it probably does not reduce anything (other than our abilities to see :D ...

Re: Going to make my Hunting License

Good luck! I was thinking about getting my licence too, but as it takes sometimes more than 1,5 year here in Slovakia to get all licences you need, and sometimes few more years to actually be able to hunt, I will wait and see how things go ;-) EDIT: Small, maybe irelevant tip from me is to make some...

What would actually improve tH:C (my 2019 hopeless wishlist)

Hi guys! We know how things are... And I am the same. I have "love and hate" relationship with theHunter Classic, and I really think that there are things that would improve this relationship (at least for me) if they were done right (or at least my way? :D ) So here we are, this is my &qu...

Re: theHunter & my son's cancer battle

While we are on the subject, Penn State College (a college in PA) Has found a cure for cancer, that is in a small pill. The maddening part is that they cannot mass produce it because the government is afraid that there might be side-effects even after it was tested on 10 people with no side-effects....

Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018

Nice SU indeed, thanks.

But it leaves me wondering about extending render distance: Was it really necessary in the past to tell us it is not possible, when it actually was?

MP deployables is actually good for me since I stopped buying membership and now I can enjoy my stuff on MP anyway ;-) thanks

Re: Flags: A list for Usage

I used to use flags for marking 20 m distance from my TS. Because I mainly use trad bows.

Also I use flags for marking tracks of wounded animal, if I shot and am tracking more than one.

Only own 2 and it is more than enough ;-)

Re: So I bought CotW (and got refunded few days after)

I don't know if you run any 'over lay' programs like Fraps automatically, or even steams overlay (found under your library general settings for the app) but I've had these types of overlays stop an application from starting. Especially Steams. Thanks for your input ;-) I did not have such software ...

Re: So I bought CotW (and got refunded few days after)

Hello guys, and thanks for answers. I tried to verify game's data and also turned off antivirus and firewall ;-) One of lists I tried to follow was this one: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003549987-My-game-won-t-start-from-Steam-Game-crashes and only two points I did not check w...

Re: altimeter

Multiple points on maps is good suggestion, but it was suggested tousand of times over the years and it seems it would make game too easy somehow... Altimeter seems kind of pointless suggestion, but I am with you. I would love HM to simulate RL GPS device even with some useless features that won't h...
