Re: Why are we hunting a protected species?

If their population in the EHR starts to dwindle, we'll stop hunting them. ;)

Re: 3D printing your trohies

Are you talking about the animals / trophy mounts? Sure it would be possible. But they'd have to make the 3D models available somehow. I think most 3D printers accept standard polygon/faceted geometry files like .stl (Stereolithography), PLY, OBJ, et.al. STL is still the "de facto" standar...

Re: 1st Annual EHR Poker Tournament - official announcement

OK, folks. This one is live & ready for registration. This should be pretty interesting... and challenging. Read the ROE and the whole first post thoroughly, a couple things have changed, and the bonus is now "blind". You'll have to guess what it is. (Speculation is encouraged.) ;) Hap...

Re: A new Goose,.. and a new Gun?

In Michigan, semi-auto rifle > .22, and semi-auto shotgun are limited to 6 shells.

Re: It's possible to climb this mountain?

You can try the "back off until the animal disappears (220m horizontal), and then move forward until it reappears (200m)" trick. It's pretty close to that edge. When it re-drops, it might come down. Try it several times if it doesn't work the first time. Otherwise, I can't recall seeing an...

Re: Payback Invitational (UHC Comp) official announcement

Well done, Stan! Thank Ridgeback. Nice idea, and a great success. Sorry about all the little glitches. On the bright side, we discovered a bug that would have affected all future comps with organ requirements & got it fixed. Although I have a forehead shaped dent in my wall. I tried a few ...

I'm still looking for the cause of that one. It's giving out the points even though I'm checking that it should only be heart or lungs.
