Neat Attention to Detail

Just a random thing I was impressed with; I'd never noticed when up hunting Ibex how closely-detailed the foliage was. TheHunter's devs actually researched and put in alpine plants JUST for upper Val-des-Bois. I don't know why I'm surprised; I shouldn't be. But I was very pleased to find a personal ...

Re: Imagine my surprise or AHHH MAN!

Ahhh man, did the free animals switch over mid-hunt? This is the reason I first got a membership lol. Only hunted whitetail, but saw a herd of elk with TWO piebald cows and had no license!! If you have time & play through Steam you can screenshot with F12 so at least if you see something cool yo...

Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018

Awesome! Trying it out with some ibex now :) Sidenote, I did clear cache myself and still don't have the scopes showing, unsure why. I'm sure time will resolve it, though. Update: showing now. Gonna have to grab one and give it a shot. Loving the increased distance--all I can say is MORE! And the mu...

Re: Settler Creeks - Your Experience?

I would advise you to check out the east part of the map. I don’t usually hunt Settler Creeks, but when i do i always walk the road that goes from the northeast area and down to southeast. Just start at the Highland Lodge and walk northeast to the road, and when you get there follow the river or ro...

Re: Settler Creeks - Your Experience?

Use this link to help, scroll to the bottom of the page where it shows the map and animal locations. http://thehunter.wikia.com/wiki/Settler_Creeks Thanks, though I have looked at that; it's general spawn locations. I'm looking for something a little more specific and for people who've maybe set up...

Re: New Game play Enhancement

Never forget that game companies pushing out release dates (of games, features, updates or w/e) before it's complete, just to hit a deadline, ends in broken content. Just wait for it. I'd rather them get it right than release it riddled with bugs.

Re: Yay, my year long milestone complete.

I prefer leucistic because of the black noses and eyes. I think it's a lot more beautiful and attractive than pink-nosed albinos--kind of a magical feel to 'em. Very pure mythical "white stag" looks :) I mean look at this thing! Courtesy of Nathan22Outdoors (playername); this is his lodge ...

Settler Creeks - Your Experience?

So! I'm looking to do a little more hunting on the reserve I've always basically ignored. While rifle-hunting and without a scenthound the thick brush was always a put-off, and as a newbie I was getting mauled by bear and hog too often to like it  Now that I've been hunting small setups on RFF ...

Re: Yay, my year long milestone complete.

My own "goal" is my "white whale:" a white stag of some kind. RME preferably, leucistic, with good antlers--that's my dream. I saw one as the centerpiece of a lodge yesterday too--a 340 fullbody mount. Gorgeous thing. Alternatively a leucistic reindeer with big antlers! Or an alb...
