If you restart the launcher the setting for audio will now be there . I'll look into the ambient sound on WRR, I know some areas are very quiet. If you walk down from the lodge the sound will be there.HD_Artworks wrote:I update the game now and you're right. The new option isn't there!Granti wrote:nopeHD_Artworks wrote:Nice update.
Thanks, EW.
I really satisfied when I see bugs is fixing!
I think you have to clear the Launcher cache to see the new option.
settings showed up before i started the game; but no audiosetting.
also launcher cache was cleared, update installed
I noticed new problem here for me!
I spawned in WRR and I barely could hear the ambient sound! Same as TGT. But WHI was fine!

Thanks for the Game Update EW. Glad to read that the WRR sound issue is fixed. Now the K9 Feline Community comp, won't be a failure due to this issue now being fixed. Thank you. Peace.

Re: Game Update - 31st January 2018
Thanks for update, but the situation of Grizzly Bears for me is always exactly the same, as I already mentioned the other day, which is this:
"Today for the first time for 2 months, I managed to spot and chase a Grizzly bear on the ground. Lately I was able to spot them just from tower. I was walking crouched, knowing their current fear, and proceeded behind it, at about 430 feet the bear went totally crazy, it started to run in all directions, how do scared deers for example, also jumping on the rocks along the river, then it vanished. On my right about 180 feet there was a group of Rocky Mountain Elk, who even did not notice my presence, and they grazing peacefully. Now obviously there something went crazy with Grizzly AI."
All of them perennially in fleeing, fervently, very fervently in fleeing.

Re: Game Update - 31st January 2018
Thanks for the quickfix. Now I see the sound option is availible in the settings and that alarm sound in WRR is gone.
However now it seems that something is broken with female moose calls there.
Either I hear the call but it is not registered on the huntermate or I get the huntermate notification without hearing her calling. Strange...
Anyone else encountered that?

Thanks for the info Hoocairs.
quite disappointing.
I wish we had a three strike rule. An animal can not be skittish, without a lure and fast roaming simultaneous.
The devs do very good things artistic wise, but the gameplay suffers.

Update, things are working again, no more annoying sound on Whiterime and the ambient sounds seem to be normal. Thanks team and all those involved that made this possible, it is nice to be able to be snow blinded and freezing again.Cajunscout wrote:Great update, except it did not fix my sound issue and I do not see the extended memory toggle in settings.
Again big thanks to a great update even with the minor gliche.
happy hunting to all.

Re: Game Update - 31st January 2018
I played two hunts on WRR (the option to add the sound memory was there for me) and did not have the sound glitch. All ambient sounds seemed normal, including female Moose.
Thank you EW for this fix. Now I can participate in BCKidd's UHC comp that starts this week.
