The Southern area, separated by the river is really good, as is following that same river to the North. You could also start at Goldhorn Pass and just work your way down the road towards the area I mentioned, but it may be on the quiet side

Johanna Schramm wrote:Hello everyone! Hope you had an awesome weekend. I'm going Grizzly Bear hunting on Thursday and I'd love to hear if you guys have any advice. I'm a little uncertain of the best areas since Timbergold Trails has been quite unlucky for me in the past. ;)

Any tips are much appreciated. Thanks in advance! <3
Hey Johanna. Check out my Timber Map in the Topic made about hunting setups in the fan guide section. On all of my Mule Deer spots i usuall see and get calls of a lot of Grizzly too. Might camp those spots.
The hill to the left of of west lodge and the forest and fields there also had lots of bears roaming around in the past for me.

Like Chuck and D3 mention, I'd start at the western lodge or better yet, a tent nearer the river to save some time- then follow it north. When a bear is in range you should get a growl but then he may not let his location be known, depends on how big and whether you've spooked them. They can see you a lot better than you can see them. The whole trick is to spot them first. If you hear them breathing and huffing you're close enough he's already got you pegged, then it's about whether he runs, or waits to eat you. If you hear him charging, he'll come from the location that's most obscured from your view  .... seems to be how it works, and once your within a certain range you will seem to have a magnetic attraction....Take medkits ;)

Best of all, if you really want one, you can run it down. It's the only bear I've been able to run down- Polars and browns are just faster than you can run and blacks, well, they have a supercharger and rocket boosters with nitrous oxide. Usain Bolt could not catch them. ... and again -TAKE MEDKITS! If I check in and see you get killed and have no medkits you owe me ;) ....

Maybe it's a new bow :)
Or maybe it's a Turkey Feeder :D

I would like to see a post here announcing the stream and start time. That would be good.

I really like to watch Lock&Learn series but I don't have a fast internet connection to watch it live.
So, can EW upload the videos to youtube?

Thanks.

Is there any way to watch yesterday's Stream ("Mat's goat")? On Twitch I only seem to find a two-minute clip that doesn't show any hunting.

The wrong clip accidentally got deleted sorry Marc! A quick run down.

Pigs....pigs...small goat, new PB goat for me (323), goats, bigish pig (~1039), rare pig (piebald), other people shooting pigs and goats. The end :D

I knew I shouldn't have missed it... to be honest I thought you would talk about the new feral goat mission pack and I just wanted to hear you say my in-game name! :P
