Re: Sneakathon 2017
mhm...
i thought the Ibex mission would take the longest, as i am not good at getting close to them.
seems i was wrong
first mission took forever, felt like all the foxes on hemeldal where eaten by some unkown entity.
i am done. nice tropy!

I thought the same but Ibex was the easiest for me aswell. Red fox gave me the most trouble. Trophy is really nicekillertut wrote:mhm...

They haven't been eaten, they just refuse to react to a call at the moment.killertut wrote:first mission took forever, felt like all the foxes on hemeldal where eaten by some unkown entity.

Tann, they do react to callsTanngnjostr wrote:They haven't been eaten, they just refuse to react to a call at the moment.killertut wrote:first mission took forever, felt like all the foxes on hemeldal where eaten by some unkown entity.
What i noticed is, that they do not react when you are calling close to a Motion Predator Decoy. But when you do not use it, the foxes come to you the way it is supposed to be.

Oh wow, it seems I somehow misunderstood how this thing is supposed to work - so it's in fact a predator repellent? Could EW make one for roe deer?killertut wrote:What i noticed is, that they do not react when you are calling close to a Motion Predator Decoy. In all seriousness, I tried it without the decoy and still the female fox I've been following for the last 45 minutes doesn't care for my caller. But well, Alena confirmed that they are broken, so let's hope for a quick and dirty Friday fix!
EDIT: You were right, kt. After removing the MPD the fox finally came to the call.
