Half a reserve wasted. Again.
I remember this was mentioned a few years ago but I feel I should bring back the subject again because I was shocked once I learned that nothing has changed with the addition of feral goats.
Half of Bushrangers Run, northern half is wasted on the occasional wandering red fox and patches of rabbit only.
I was happy the feral goat was added so that i could finally have a better reason to explore the northern part, but to my surprise, they packed the goats with all other mainstream animals on the southern part only.
Someone just recently created a thread about animals migrating between reserves and it sounded cool. We should first see the change of animals migrating within reserves first. Animal behaviors can't be too predictable.
Why go through creating so much reserve land and not populate it with more mainstream animals.

For me the best place for goat hunt is the North of BR.

Same. Sometimes you can have a bad spawn, but I often find big herds of goats in the NW.Pittie wrote:For me the best place for goat hunt is the North of BR.

But the Feral Goats do spawn up in the northern area of the map.

Well maybe I should of waiting a little longer before posting. I'm basing my opinion on 3 late excursions to the whole large expanse of north barrens with no sightings or tracks anywhere in that area. I still did not travel northwest of the western lodge yet.

I'd still like to see the AXIS DEER put on the Northern Half of BR Map.

My favorite spot for goats is north, my bait stand gets huge herds every time.
I do agree there should be more animals though. The map's sparse. I'd love emus (easy to animate too). And crocs, of course.

Maybe it's a "time of day" thing. To any / all of you having success in the Northern part, what time do you set your game? I know it matters for other animals so maybe that's what is going on.Leventthyen wrote:Well maybe I should of waiting a little longer before posting.
