Approaching 10 years of TheHunter
TheHunter was released in March 2009 that's close to 10 years of the game being out now. (almost just one year away)
I wonder what special event is going to happen in the 1st Q of 2019... Incoming Safari map?
What do you think will happen?

Re: Approaching 10 years of TheHunter
10 years now that is a lot for a online game, more if you consider that is a "niche" kind of simulator, i hope that devs keep this game running for another 10 years, sure new projects can be done but the Hunter classic have an unique appeal, and that have lasted almost 10 years. For a event i guess there my be a new reserve, hard to guess the area to be simulated, of course some big event running for a month or so and maybe a new in game mechanics or a revamp to the old reserves to leave them at the level of the new ones.

Maybe a special competition, or an overhaul of some of the models? Turkey definitely needs it!

The only thing I expect for 10 years is a new graphics engine. A reserve of Africa with this graphic engine, no thanks. An African reserve would look good on COTW

i started the week it opened to the public march 2009. it was around a few months earlier 2008 oct/nov time before going live.cant believe it is still running and doing so well.still many things that can be done so as long as the ship is sailed correctly cant see why we havent got plenty more years to come.

Maybe a special event of some sort ( comps / missions ) .Ravenousfox wrote:What do you think will happen?
Some nice sales .
Hopefully not an African reserve ( so tired of hearing that suggestion , doesn't have its place in Classic ,imo . Go play Cabela's game if you want girafe, rhinos ,elephant , tiger ,etc .)
Special clothing commemorating the 10th anniversary .
I don't expect much more .
