I was really lucky on two Fox spawns. I was even shocked how fast that happened to me on my first two attempts of the comp.
I don't know why you're bringing up my money side of things, I didn't even use stands or camping supplies.

i dont understand what money have to do with animal spawn?
i have won november madness and i didnt spend a cent. yesterday i paid 44 dollars and have nothing on current competition.

i never really get this "when my license expires in off" mentality. If i buy a game and dont like it, i dont then play it and loose out on game time that i could spend enjoying somthing else. youre not getting more for your money, youre getting less because you're now spending time on something you dont want to play.

My only gripe is this. Keep the comps open for the whole month. I have time on the weekends to hunt and sometimes during the week but it varies. If the comps were open all month long then I could compete on weekends/when I have time to. Most of the comps I don't get an entry which means I leave a lot of points on the table. The holiday comps are usually the only ones I participate in.

leaving them open would just compound the problem everyone is expressing here and would probably put you at more of disadvantage.
