I was in my stand on readfeather (the one next to trappers rest) walked over to look at a buck I was about to shoot. Heard a cracking noise, (shot the buck) and looked down to see that the floor of my stand was cracked.

And I didn't shoot through the floor!

I somehow don't believe that the floor gave out while you were hunting. I suspect it was always like that, and you only noticed it after you shot.
Who knows, I've been wrong before
