Where to find Bighorn Sheep?

After almost two hours I finally shot one. It seems they are not at the top near the borders, as I expected. More likely in forests near mines.

Are they very skittish like the ibex? Or are they a bit easier to stalk?

goats and sheep (wild ones) should all be very skittish, so i assume the bighorns will behave like the ibex

They are few and far between, seen two so far. They need to bump there numbers up a bit

Nothing like ibex hunting... the only reason why I haven't shot more ibex is because I mainly shoot males and trophies... I think people are going to shoot every bighorn they see just because you only see a few in hours of gameplay. It's sad, bighorn are the only new species I'm excited for and I hate to say this but they need a audio clue on the Hunter mate at this rate

They behave probably like ibex. Can see you from a mile away, but cannot hear you. But it's not about they are so skittish. It's about there is so few of them.

Ye, after watching youtube looks like identical ibex.

True the one I did harvest and other I watched do behave like ibex, there's just too few to justify 2 hours hunts and not seeing anything
