My simple question would be will the crashes be fixed so that people can enjoy the events?

Special events such as holiday missions and competitions are definitely bittersweet in these situations. One could argue that if there are players unable to play the game, and some able to play but with regular crashes, then it may not be fair to host such events. It effectively makes trophies and other prizes more obtainable for some players, creating an immediate disadvantage. However, by breaking what has become a tradition and not hosting a holiday event, I would imagine many players will complain.
