All this time it takes a millennium for spotting to respond,
I'm in the same boat as you Fletchette, and I have everything turned up.
It's been like that since I started playing the game.
I always thought the spotting was way to slow responding to what I saw in a couple seconds.
I'd try the filter off but I guess that it wouldn't change my mind on how useless it goes into the scoring process anyways.
If I shoot something I've damn well seen it already.

I tested this to see what would happen and I quickly spotted more ducks as well. Even animals at long distance in my binocs registered much quicker. Is there anything that could be done to speed up spotting with filter on?

Looks like its a way to go if you want to lvl your spotting.

on a goose hunt right now. a pack of hogs walked across the field not 50 meters from me, id usually spot all 6 no bother. couldn't get a single spot without them wandering behind a tuft of grass and loosing them.
