Bear bait bucket question. (say that 3 times fast)

After 350 hours I just bought a bear bucket. When I set it up I seen it asked if I wanted to ad 1 unit, 10 units or all units. I added all not knowing which is best for how long of time.

So obviously my question, which is the right amount for what amount of time placed?

I've got around 25 of each type bears and tracking takes a while. So I'm looking to speed up the process.

Perfect, answered all my questions, thanks. I should have looked there first as I always open the wiki when I start a hunt. As I'm going to need it at least once every hunt.
