Share your driven hunts!
Hi!
Since Driven hunting is becoming more popular in The Hunter, I thought I'd make a post where people can share their drives. Here are some of the drives that I have set up right now.
We usually only have one beater/driver, which is enough. This means you can already have a succesfull drive with only 2 hunters. Beaters shoot in the air with birdshot to get the animals to move in the direction of the hunters. I use feeders to make sure boars and bears are in the drive.
The red line represents the route the beaters go, the crosses indicate the positions the hunters are posted.
Val du Bois:
Prey:
Ibex
Settlers Creek
Prey:
Roosevelt Elk
Whitetail Deer
Black Bear
Hirschfelden
Prey:
Red deer
Wild boar
Red fox
Roe deer

Re: Share your driven hunts!
Hello,
This is a new drive i recently set up for red deer, brown bears and foxes
i was only able to test it a few times so far but it seems to be giving decent results. It can work with 3 or 4 players,
i think if we could add a second "driver" (runner, i don't know the word for sure) that could run down the hill parralel to the first one, results could even be better.
