Re: Extinction of Val-des-Bois
The "shoot on the run" comment is so accurate. I've made videos of hot spots and shooting them on the run (some not so flattering to my shooting prowess).ronMctube wrote:ab we may not get them all but its worth a try
this is more a learn about how the reserve and animals work , ratios of gender and such.
like last time it yields very good data and you learn alot on how things work.
sometimes in one long hunt well organized like this. you can learn more in that one hunt than a year of hunting normally.
last time for eg .we thought only 200 animals spawned , many thought this then we killed 246 ! not only that we didn't have no trophy animals in that spawn or hardly anything worth mentioning.
im really looking forward to how it goes and what we see and find out.
the ibex can be flushed and shot on run this is often better than trying to creep up on them.
i wonder how many animals we will get. i think less than loggers point maybe 160-170.
I'd like to see a list of who's actually going to be in the server so I can track their progress. If I'm fortunate enough to participate, that would be great as well.
Also, does it normally take several passes to get all the animals? I'd think so. And, near the end, are you having to call animals in?

MoonpieSpotlight you can join in if you can hunt all day. there is space we need 8 people.
so two spots left. you need to have teamspeak 3 and mic. as coordinating is vital.

Let me know what timezone you're in so I can figure out when it would be for Central Standard Time (UTC - 6:00), sounds like fun.
