I'd like to see the falling limited to the steeper slopes/cliffs, please don't get rid of it altogether, it's a great way of teleporting round the map without waiting for the 30 minute respawn time. (Just Jump off a cliff and teleport off to the next tent/tree stand combo )
If you want to get rid of something, the climbing minigame would be a great start.

I agree with limiting falling to steeper slopes, but there is nothing wrong with the ropes. I kind of like it. IMO ropes are a hassle IRL as they are here.

How about a poll on whether to keep the climbing minigame?

if there are 19 rope locations and you put a rope at each location it would cost you $12.54 US in total (assuming you purchased the 5000 em currency for $43.99 , hardly a fortune .

Make sure you vote opposite to what you actually want.philaitch wrote:How about a poll on whether to keep the climbing minigame?
Recent poll asking if there was too many animals in VdB had more than 70% saying "NO- it's all good" - and the population was nerfed.

Re: The Hunter Perhaps is straying off course!
So here is my problem. This is with every game, not just theHunter.
You invest time and money in a membership or monthly fee.
You enjoy the game, buy extras etc.
Then mid stream the game mechanics or rules are changed creating a "new" game that if you had not previously invested so much
time and money, you would not fall in love with all over again.
Examples would be for some...the new falling damage. I don't mind it, I just think its stupid. Another would be the tweaks to home
my previously bought, with real money converted to GM .357 can no longer be used to hunt animals it was listed as able to hunt
when I decided to make the purchase. It is like buying a car that you know has 4 wheels then someone from the dealer comes a
week later and takes one of the wheels back. Does that seem logical?
These decisions are always revenue based. The changes in the .357 are to encourage more people to buy the new grasshopper, thus
increasing revenue. The "cliffs" are revenue based to encourage the purchase of climbing gear. The changes in Turkeys adding a locator
call, which doesn't work well FYI, is based on revenue. The addition of Turkey decoys....revenue.
In and of themselves, they can be considered harmless, but when they are tallied up they have significant long-term impact on the game
rendering it significantly modified from the first time I took out my Visa to buy a membership.
I am blessed to be able to spend as much money as I want on the game because I'm divorced.....lol...so I don't have to ****** about the 10,000 medkits I will use or my ropes randomly disappearing, or the 5 boxes of .22 cartridges that disappeared from my inventory, or the
constructible tower which for some reason does not let me climb it. But I am also smart enough to say *** because I don't want to waste
money on a game that is going to end completely different than what it is when I started.
