Re: Favorite Weapon
Before the update the 8x57 Anschütz. But that seems to be a weak gun now

Re: Favorite Weapon
I don't even own the Blaser R8 but from the look, sound and scope, it'd be my favourite if it could also shoot elk.

Blaser R8 for medium game
Python for small-medium game when they're low score/female, and moose because you can get really close to them
7mm or .300 for bears and long range shooting.

Re: Favorite Weapon
i have had great luck with the .300 205M shot on a Brown bear, right through the lungs and heart.
The pumpshotgun is also great. Extremely versatile.

Re: Favorite Weapon
My list of favorites are the .300, 8x57 (not Kar98), 7mm Magnum, and the 12-gauge pump shotgun: this is before and after the ballistics update. Not really into bows, but you definitely see more animals when using them.

Re: Favorite Weapon
Pump Shotgun. I own couple IRL and I like them in game for same reasons, althought loading animations needs a bit reworking, I think it works great for goose hunts and occasional slug usage.
