Surgeon With A Shotgun Mission Bug?

I am able to harvest 2 geese from over 40m on the east side of the river OK and it counts towards the missions but when I try to do the 2 geese on the west side it doesn't count towards the mission help please?

Not a bug. Minimum of 40 meters for the kill. Harvest has to be 100 meters away from the river. Just completed this mission for the second time a couple of days ago.

I did exactly that so yes there is a bug. Because the mission didn't complete.

I had the same problem. You have to move farther from the river.

That wasn't the problem the location I was at was glitched I got the mission too now, before I realized the location was glitched I looked for what I was doing wrong but I was over 168m away from the river and shooting them from over 40m so yeah...

It's bugged I think but the mission can be done if you follow Metalmind's link posted above. And East before West guys!

I'd tried shooting on the west for kills 3 and 4 and made sure I was much more than 100m from the river, but got no scores (yes I was over 40m kill distance and the geese were airborne). I was around the 9060, -276 area and very sure I was 200m + from the river. I think this is exactly what EclipseStarr is describing.

I moved south and went to the location marked with a 2 on Metalmind's map - bam, bam, 2 geese and my mission is complete.

I have suggested a clearer mission description on Help and Support in the Steam forums plus a quick revision of where the valid ground is for making the kills as I do think it's both ambiguous and possibly bugged.

MrLokk, one person not experiencing a glitch or bug does not mean that the bug or glitch doesn't exist by the way; if you were lucky enough to pick a place to shoot that works that's great. Our concern is that we followed the mission instructions but in the parts of the map we tried, the kills didn't count.
