CHOSEN AS THE TIP OF THE WEEK
TIP 1
When tracking an animal, if you lose the trail and can't find the next track, blood spot, etc., go back to the last known track marked on the Huntermate and begin walking in small circles around the last track, gradually moving further out until you regain the trail. Works every time.
TIP 2
Always keep the wind in your face. Take note of the leaves blowing in the wind or use your wind indicator. Trophy animals are more wary and have better senses than smaller animals. If you take away their dominant sense of smell by staying downwind of your prey you'll have a much better chance of bagging a trophy.

When spotting animals with your binos, hold your binos still on an area and search that area with your eyes, then move binos to another area and search that area with your eyes, instead of constantly moving your binos.

> if you have a very bad angle and you can't move (game very close) . try to move over 2 or 3 m and aim fast at the stomach area . intestines is a large and poorly protected area and an area that always leads to lethal wounds
> buck shell is very efficient ammo against small or medium sized deers at close range
> big game like mooses or bears need accurate shots . non accurate shots including intestines shots can takes age to be effective . during a mission over a bear after 3 slugs from long range (mission requirement) the bear was still alive , and apparently well , as i had to shoot a fourth slug from 10 m .. during another hunt over a moose after 1300 seconds and an intestines shot , i had to shoot a second time to finish the animal bear moose

Re: Tip of the week [NOMINATE]
Shooting hidden rabbits with the shotgun is relatively easy. Shooting them safely with the .22 air rifle or .22 Pistol is harder. In that case try shooting the rabbits from the front. These are the safest kills. You will most likely hit the head (instant death with nice jump animation) or body (the animal will run a few meters and die).
When shooting them from the side you risk hitting legs or ears, and the bunny will run and hide again. Even shots from behind can be blocked by the cotton tail, and you are in for another search.
If shooting from the front is not possible, shoot from the side and aim for the head, or from behind while aiming above the tail.

When scoping out your surroundings with the binoculars in wooded areas move to the left or right 1 or 2 meters to see more of the area around you that trees are blocking.

When waterfowl hunting, turn your tracks off to enhance the experience. You can turn them back on when its time to collect your birds.

If you recognise that you walk / run slower than other players during MP game (for example if you travel together to some point), it mean that its time to think about your PC improvement. The slower PC you have - the slower you move in game.
