Awesome, love the new comps. Congrats on that 194 meter crossbow shot on the Feral Goat TK!

Re: Status Update - 1st February 2018
Thanks for great update!
I fully agree about the bears. Well, mostly. I don't think that polar bears are as agressive towards human as some of players claim. But true is, that they do not fear us too much either. However, this might be highly dictated by the fact (aside of their sheer size), that you can shot one IRL only in self defense situation. Otherwise, I think in all regions they do occur, it is illegal to hunt them. And there is not lot of people too. So they had no need to develope a fear of human, I guess. In-game polar bears are actively hunted, so I agree they might be somwhat more shy than IRL. Still, I think their should be (in game's terms) signifficanlty more agressive than grizzlies. But in general, I love the fact bears have been fixed.
Btw. original, greek Feta is made from sheep's milk, not goat's, as far as I know.

"But if we now compare bear species, Grizzly and Polar Bear are much more likely to charge rather than flee than the other species. If you want to do tests I would try walking around, not running."
There's something missing in this story, even if you walk around they fleeing. Plus, you have to be lucky to find them in the open field, otherwise in this way, it's virtually impossible to spot them in the dense forest of TT.

Following our conversation, starting locations have been removed from the expedition analyser (where players start at a tent). Otherwise, every piece of information shown can be obtained from the website (or calculated using data from the website).ronMctube wrote:ideally i think people should have a option on the UHC app to either show or hide their data.would of been nice to have been asked.

EW..the cart before the horse. Just my opinion sometimes. I think it's appropriate for this comment.Treedweller wrote:Wow! I didn't even know my competitions were chosen! I went to the home page today and saw my name there, what a shock! lol Thank you EW
