gas56 ... In what way does this game interfering with the Holidays ?
You are the one and only who can decide what is a priority in your life . If its the family and friends and having a good time , well do it .
Don't blame EW for making a Holiday event during the Holidays , like they always did .

And then what ? No Valentine event during February because one want to spend some time with his girlfriend !!

Nothing personal but , you are blaming the wrong peeps here , imo .

DYEUZ I didn't take his post as blaming EW but more asking them to consider ending the event before Christmas eve so that the players that want to compete can do so with out having to choose between family or the game.

I was going to say much the same as DYEUZ. This time of the year means different things to so many people. Changing things to suit any singular way of thinking or belief is never going to work. Religion is a touchy subject and we should steer clear. None the less I hope everyone is having or is about to have fun and in a happy place

Changing things to suit any singular way of thinking or belief is never going to work.

All I was asking was to change the dates so that the so many people that think like I think may still enjoy and do holiday events and be able to do what they normally do on the only holiday
in the year that really is supposed to not be commercialized. In my heart I don't think I should have to explain this or choose between the two,
because there is only 1 true meaning of Christmas and I will always choose that one.
I had hoped you would understand this simple request.

My middle son (he's 33) enjoys to cook also like he's doing right ATM preparing Christmas food.
I just like to eat it myself.....

What I would suggest is to decrease the amount of points for the 240,000 point trophy to 210 or 220,000. Then the rest can compete for the top 100 to their hearts desire up until the 25th. Just a thought. Oh and maybe put Rudolph out a little earlier.

Anyone know exactly how many hours are left for the Holiday Event 2017? Thanks in advance!

If I remember from last year it ends on the 26th some time in the morning hours. so plan on mashing all the way through Christmas night.
