Ardillamente wrote:... If you could somehow make the scores (weights for ducks and skull sizes for bobcats/ wolves) randomly generated, especially the 3 digits of the score after the decimal, it would make it much more realistic and less boring. It makes the potential for competition scoring pretty predictable and unfair as well. I hope enough people see this post on page 4 of this thread, I'd love to hear other people's comments on this.
A very old discussion: for every species with score determined by skull size (all bears, wolf, bobcat etc.) are only 2 numbers to "play" with (length and width) and in a very narrow range (keep in mind that skull must be realistic/proportional, so must be a correlation between length and width, in a even more narrow range), so is not unusual to see same score for multiple animals. Same thing happens for species with score determined by weight in grams (all rabbits and all ptarmigans), but i didn't noticed the problem for ducks or geese (there the weight is in milligrams).

Lovin' the update. And, that seems to be the trend recently. Good job to all of the Devs.
The Bobcats are a lot of fun & they look great.
The sheds have been on the wishlist in the community ever since I can remember & the leaderboards are a cool addition also.

Good morning. What is the spotting distance of antlers? Is it like any other colectables (20m) or like animals (200m horizonally)? Thanks in advance.

Q: Will a better Personal Bests page ever return? One that can also show rares only and can be sorted throughout all seasons?
Luna: This would require significant backend optimizations and a good deal of frontend work .. no promises.
You can find more on sixth post, the one starting with "Luna, David - Backend".
