Well, yesterday it didn't happen so i had to shoot my first bobcat today!
After a hunt of 3 hours on Loggerspoint without the caller i was done with it!
i bought 1000 ems and bought the caller and a treestand, hopped to RB and placed them where Hoocairs placed his treestand.

After some waiting i got a call and later it came towards the e-caller.
Took out my .223 and shot it down, no risks taken ;)

I was also under the impression that the scoring changed alongside the model sizes, and that's what warranted a new season starting. If it was just model sizes, then we didn't need a new season. But I too am seeing familiar sizes on the leaderboards for wolves and coyotes.
Just reread the update and I agree sounds like the score should have changed too guess its a bug or there wording is off either of the two.
We need a word from the devs regarding this one... Me too understood it as the scores had to go down because of the new smaller size hence the new season.

its just me or bobcat calling chance has been reduced? In first day i got decent calls in a game of 1-2 hours or more, last two days i kill them by tracking them down ,barely one or two calls in whole session.

Wasnt there an answer from alena a few minutes ago, or am i hallucinating? It said that wolf score changed and coyotes didnt. what about the red foxes? i hope the scores of older animals wont be touched cause i want to be able to beat my old personal bests for the trophy lodge!

I would leave the scores up....
I mean if my hunter icon is shrunk will my score go down??? I hope not!.......
or readjust the scores accordingly to the relative size, which it is already doing right now..... ;)

What big claws you have Gram-ma?
the better to claw you with my dear....... :D
I guess it is the same reason like it growls like a big cat sometimes..... ;)
You're not supposed to notice those things.........

The models are well done, and they really are a challenge to hunt. The very first cat I saw in the swamp, his spotting information popped up near my caller but I just couldn't pick him out. By the time I realized he was creeping in directly underneath my treestand, he was already starting to sprint off.

I've found the little trick that seems to be working for me so far to know if a bobcat is coming is to set up my electronic caller and tree stand then just start calling in deer. The deer will mosey around under the stand and as soon as they go spooky, I know a bobcat is coming into the call or is at least nearby. Obviously it only works if there are deer around, but it's nice to have a little warning since the cats are difficult to spot in brush and since they don't hang around long before they take off.

That's a great tip!! Cheers :)
