In RB? I'm guessing mountain lion. I'd still love to see alligators added but they don't have fur, so...

Second guess is raccoon; they'd fit in all three reserves mentioned quite well.

Beaver, Otter, fisher, marten, mink, weasel, skunk, opossum, gopher, badger, ground squirrel, ground hog/woodchuck, raccoon, bobcat, feral cat, grey fox.

Out of those I would like to see the bobcat.

My guess is bobcat, squirrel, or raccoon.

Bobcat would be perfect for RB, WHI, but I think LP does not need them, but rather SC.

Squirrel are mostly in forest so it seems unlikely for them to be added to RB with all the swampy water. Unless they are only in the forest areas of RB. They would be perfect for WHI and they would be fine in LP.

Raccoon would be a must in SC because of all the creeks. They would fit well also in RB. WHI does not have a lot of water so they would be better in RFF IMO.

So even though I feel strongly it is one of those three animals, I am unsure which animal would be the best for those three reserves. Seems likely to be a Bobcat though.

Fox squirrels (especially the black ones) are all over the bayous, water ways, and swamps of Louisiana. One of the fun ways I used to hunt squirrels was trolling along in a bateau along the banks of the bayou and pipeline canals shooting them from the tree tops.

Louisiana does have a subspecies of the mountain lion called the Florida panther. It is basically a smaller version of the mountain lion. Including a mountain lion in RB would be realistic; however the bobcat would be a better fit for RB.

Nice update. I hope for Lynx. After so many years of waiting, it is time for big cats.
