I agree, I missed it last year because of a broken GFX card, was really looking forward to more of the same so I could participate this year. Even skipped BC Kids community comp in anticipation. -_-dools24 wrote:No division comp this year St Patricks was best one last year been looking forward to it and just a trophy for mission not much of a event

Re: St. Patrick's Day Event 2017
I don't get it...
This thread lists four "Leaf of..." missions.
But what about all those pots of gold?
Which mission do we activate for that?
What is it's name?
And why is it not mentioned in this thread ???

The mission is called "Strike it rich!" and you should find it in the "Available" section of the mission tab until you activate it - or at the very end of the mission list. You'll have to find 16 pots of gold and will get a trophy. It's completely separate from the competitions.

Re: St. Patrick's Day Event 2017
Thank you Tanngnjostr.
It would have been helpful if that fact was explained a bit more clearly here in the opening post.
I have wasted my time picking up lots of them without knowing about activating any mission.
I looked under competitions, where the "Leaf of" are.
I am not the only player confused by this, it makes me wish the whole celebration did not exist at all, at all.

I understand that it can confuse "new" players that haven't done missions before or aren't really familiar with special events - you haven't been around the game for very long, right?Kinarr wrote:Thank you Tanngnjostr.

For us "old crocks" it's pretty self-explanatory, but it's a good hint to make things more clear for people that just joined!
Enjoy the mission anyway - you'll find the 16 pots eventually.

It was a nice event, some of the comps were challenging, WT Ptarmigans are very hard to find and to shoot in trees area.
