BCKidd.
Shoots 420 elk, goes to harvest.....see's a wolf chowing down...now it's a 320 elk :D 0% harvest value
  I never thought about that. Still, it would be cool and devastating all at once. Shot placement like Shadow says would be very important if this is how the wolves are going to act. I'm all for it. 8-) ;) Peace.

BCKidd.

Len, they are intrigued by the smell of their dead? What you got there, cannibal turkeys?
Or is it a learning experience for the jakes? "Smell that? That's what happens when you don't pay attention to your surroundings. Poor Marty, he had so much goin for him..."

Good update Alena. Wolves look good, interesting to see how the AI will play out.
But, be that as it may, since the inventory and map are still loading slow as cold molasses for myself and others I may have to wait to check them out. It's just too frustrating trying to hunt like that, and forget goin to a tent as then you have to wait for the entire inventory to load, and that can take 10-15 min as is.
Maybe the family will post a picture of Marty in his graduation cap and gown, saying "he was a troubled youth, but he was just turning his life around".

Did you have to do them in order?

I got the headshot first, set up a decoy about 10m away, and backed up on a small hill, with ghilli suit on.
Got the lungshot trying to do the 60m heartshot.

So no, don't have to do them in order.

but man the heartshot .223 no scope, 60m is hard, and still trying on that one

That's a great technique for the head shot! I tried the .223 AR shot while one was walking in -had a view of the chest and popped him - when I claimed him I couldn't believe I got the heart ~ kill #6 with that gun  but I like the sight -

Working on the heart shot. Had a flag out at 70 meters, calling one in, just as he got to the flag some elk on the edge of the woods spooked and he took off. Not a bad shot, "on the wing", and no scope.

The wolf looks very good! Brilliant work!!! :o
I think the most beautiful animal in the EHR!

I hope that next year we can also hunt at night! That would be cool if you goes in the dark through the revier and the wolves howling!
And on the Halloween video it looked really good! ;)
Please let us hunt at night and moonlight!
