Re: Status Update 11th November 2016
I'm sure after reading the Status-Report it was the developers decision to not have the wolves as an aggressive species. Did I miss an official poll the dev's released looking for a community vote? Or is this calling everyone pussie's just you being egotistical because you find the mechanics behind aggressiveness challenging and somehow very rewarding (Strange when it is quite repetitive). Seriously who dies to the aggressive mechanics of any species (well maybe a Moose once in a while) in TheHunter or even finds it challenging after two/maybe three hunts?DanthemanBoone wrote:
There are a lot of players contemplating whether wolves will be dangerous animals capable of attacking hunters. The answer is no.

I dont see anywhere in the post where my comments were directed at the Devs.
The comments are aimed at the majority of members who have posted that they don't want aggressive behaviors in the wolves.
So Be it.
Old hunters never die. They just sit around the campfires and tell the biggest lies.

No need to call names, devs or players... so lets all get over that.
With that said, I understand that wolves will protect if threatened.
If they are starving, and the pack is big enough, they would look at a lone hunter, as a possible meal.
Wounded a wolf should fight back, but given the way animals are tracked ingame, not sure how they would do it.
The pack coming to help the wounded wolf, would be cool, but too many possible problems in that.
Let them get the wolves in first, then go from there ? behavior wise, that can always be changed

I really hope the event this week will be fun and working, maybe a test run for the holidays.

only when threatened, like being cornered or to protect your young......oh yeah, when they are protecting their food,too....but, under normal condition, they shy away from humans.....they have more sense than humans do. ...
