Actually when the score of the animal is the objective, that's exactly when players are likely to spawn mash. Fire up a hunt, fast travel to a prime location for said animal, quickly look around for a high scoring one and if none appear, quit, rinse and repeat.

The disconnects are absolutely a problem during an event like this, or any competition for that matter. The solution is not to make the competition different, it's to fix the backend problem.

So if they connect and disconnect, this is bad for the servers?
